5. Here’s a video of Lexi, April, Braxton, Davis, and UNDIE doing “Comatose” for the first time for the students in August. This is one of my favorite moments of the year. Yes, watch the choreographers dance. But then do it again to watch the students take it in.

4. Our opener is a complete lyric rewrite of the song, “Welcome to the Rock” from the musical Come From Away. It was much more difficult than anticipated to turn a song about 9/11 into a song about the Genesis clinic...

3. I originally bought 100 oxygen masks to use during Comatose, but after one rehearsal using a magnetic bench-attachment system, it was clearly not going to work. I glued 100 small magnets to those masks....

2. The story of Genesis was created after hearing what became our second song, “Comatose.” I was looking to make a future-set show and was inspired to create a dystopian story based on technology after watching way too much “Black Mirror”

1. Some of the phones we used in the show are the same phones Marysville “Swingers Unlimited” used in their show last year. They donated them to us and included selfies of each student on the phones. @MarysvilleSU

Last year I did a thread with some behind the scenes stories and secrets about the 10th Street Edition show. Since our final shows were supposed to start tomorrow. I’ll start some of these tomorrow as well. Can’t wait to share some great moments with y’all!

1. Must be 4 part, and chorale-style.
2. Must be under 1 minute.
3. Must be notated on paper or on a digital sheet music software.
4. I will help the winner develop a final product.
5. I’m absolutely serious I will sing this at every concert.
